One of the most well-known Ganesh Mandal in Mumbai, Lalbaug Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal, popularly known as Mumbaicha Raja’s feet worshiping ceremony took place on 12th July 2014 with jubiliant celebrations. All the stake holders including the residents in the nearby locality, philanthropist gathered in large numbers to seek divine blessing from their Mumbaicha Raja and get the first glimpse of his feet. The occasion also saw many Hindi and Marathi cinema actors like Swapnil Joshi and Neha Pendse to name a few. Various Marathi folk bands from different parts of Mumbai also played drums and performed Lezim as tribute to the almighty Mumbaicha Raja.
