welcoming BAPPA to a Kutchi Bhungra

We had recreated traditional mud houses of Kutch " bhungra " with its traditional art form lippan work which is done by the natives with cow dung, mud and mirror on the walls. We did it with handmade from scratch with ropes ( doris ) and mirrors on a white cloth making the traditional symbols of feet, hands, peacocks, kalash, lotus, tiger, parrot, camel, elephants,,etc The ceiling was also decorated with handmade tiny umbrellas, latkans, pompoms, cloth parrots, puppets, Wooden parrots, elephants, paper lanterns, kites showcasing the beautiful play of colours, folklore, vibrancy and devotion that kutchis are known for!
