This year I made my Ganapati decoration with Colourful bright threads. Even I used black chart paper and reused nails. I used the concept of Mandala Art and colour wheel in the decoration. I emphasize the center circle with white shiny thread and even that is like relief work( pop up style). This relief work is giving more creative modern look but at the same time because of mandala style form it gives traditional look too for the decoration. However it's just using threads but how aesthetically arranged so many colourful threads, that's the beauty of my decoration. So its totally Eco-Friendly decoration.
