Ganpati and musak made from 14 fruits and vegetables, apart from recycled paper, flowers and mayur pankh. Items used- Pineapple leaves and tomato for crown, papaya for face, dry coconut for body, cucumber for tusk, legs and feet, sunflower seeds and white sesame for eyes, karonda( Bengal Currant/ karanda) and Firangipani bud as tilak, cabbage leaves for ears, ginger for hands and Kundru (Ivy Gourd) as Musak. All food items were distributed and consumed as prasad after visarjan of dried coconut and paper. No food was wasted. Time taken in vegetable carving and installation- 1.5 hours.
